Director / Structural / Water & Sanitation Engineer
Mohamed Saif Saeed, as Director at Epoch, is known for his strong leadership skills and is a highly qualified Environmental/Water and Sanitation Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He has completed specialized training courses to enhance his expertise in the field of environmental engineering and water and sanitation.
Saif has attended various training programs, including Water Distribution Design & Modeling using Water cad/Water GEMS in Pune, India, and Hydraulic Modeling for Water Network Design in Dubai, UAE. He has also completed a Training Program on Urban Rainwater Harvesting and Decentralized Wastewater Treatment and Reuse, with modules on Rainwater Harvesting and Wastewater Treatment Plants, in Srilanka. In addition, Mohamed has completed Module A – Management, Sewerage Construction Manager (SCM)-CIDB in Malaysia.
Saif has extensive experience working on various environmental engineering and water and sanitation projects. He has been involved in water and sanitation facilities at more than 120 islands in the Maldives and in more than 26 islands in the capacity of Project Manager and Environmental Engineer for assessing groundwater resources and designing aquifer recharge systems in the Maldives. Mohamed has also been involved multiple appraisal studies awarded by OFID’s Governing Board to administer loans amounting to more than US$ 150 million based on the findings at Uzbekistan. He was also involved in conducting detailed investigations for establishing flood mitigation measures in N. Holhudhoo as a Design Engineer.
Saif holds several licenses that demonstrate his high level of professional expertise and qualification in his field. He is a Graduate Engineer at Engineers Australia and a member of the Association of Civil Engineers in the Maldives.
